Very good impression and colors. Slight centerfold

Waka no ura means Poetry Bay.  Hiroshige’s design featuring cranes in flight evokes an 8th century poem by Akahito:
Headed for the reedy shores
the cranes cry passing
It is an area of great scenic beauty and many lovely temples and shrines and has been celebrated by poets for centuries. The Tama-tsu-shima Shrine on the island in the bay is dedicated to the famous 5th century poetess, Princess Sotori.
